Buy a home in Aliento and keep the commission

Most homes for sale in Aliento are resales. When the seller or a builder pays your agent's commission, TurboHome credits most of it back to you. On a $1,000,000 home in Santa Clarita, California, that's about $15,000 back at closing.

What to know before buying in Aliento

Aliento is a gated community of about 498 homes set among 900 acres of hills in the northeast part of Santa Clarita, in Canyon Country. Pardee Homes and Tri Pointe Homes began building in 2017 and finished in 2021, so homes here now sell as resales. The community has five neighborhoods, Arista, Tierno, Cresta, Lucera, and the separately gated Verano 55+.

Residents share a clubhouse, pools, a spa, a gym, parks, and a dog park, and Verano has its own clubhouse and pool. Drought-tolerant landscaping replaces big lawns, and public trails from the Arboleda Trailhead circle the community. Golden Oak Community School sits just outside the gates, with La Mesa Junior High and Golden Valley High nearby.

In June 2026 listings ran from about $745,000 for Verano homes to $1.9 million for large Cresta homes, with a median list price near $1 million. HOA dues are about $225 to $277 a month, Verano owners pay a second HOA, and every neighborhood except Verano carries Mello-Roos. With prices this spread out, a local buyer's agent who comps by neighborhood keeps your offer on target. Our local agents write strong resale offers and credit you a TurboHome rebate at closing.

Stack your rebate on top of the deal in Aliento

Most buyers take the listing as offered. The cheapest house in the neighborhood comes from layering three savings.

The seller's or builder's incentive

Sellers in Aliento can offer price cuts or closing-cost credits, and any builder still selling there may advertise rate buydowns. Those stay yours when you buy with TurboHome.

Your TurboHome rebate

When the seller or builder pays the buyer's agent commission. We keep a flat fee and credit you the rest at closing, about $15,000 on a $1,000,000 home.

What we negotiate on top

Price, repairs after inspection, and seller-paid closing costs. Sellers rarely offer these to buyers who don't ask.

What our local agents check in Aliento

The details that change your monthly payment or resale value, and that a listing won't mention.

  • Check Mello-Roos by neighborhood

Every Aliento neighborhood except Verano carries Mello-Roos. Pull the tax bill for the exact home.

  • Add the second HOA in Verano

Verano owners pay the Aliento HOA plus their own. Recent dues elsewhere run about $225 to $277 a month.

  • Comp within the neighborhood

Verano, Tierno, and Cresta homes sell at very different prices. We pull sales from the same neighborhood before you make an offer.

  • Know the 55+ rules

Verano is age restricted. Confirm the age rules before you write an offer.

  • Plan the commute

The Via Princessa Metrolink station is a short drive away. We can map your commute before you choose a home.

Buying in Aliento: common questions

Yes, when the seller pays buyer-agent compensation. TurboHome keeps a flat fee and credits you the rest at closing. On a $1,000,000 home with 2.5% compensation, that is $25,000 minus a $10,000 flat fee, or a $15,000 TurboHome rebate. Your lender confirms how the credit is applied.
