Most homes for sale in Alamo Ranch are resales. When the seller or a builder pays your agent's commission, TurboHome credits most of it back to you. On a $350,000 home in West San Antonio, Texas, that's about $5,500 back at closing.

Your Alamo Ranch savings stack
Alamo Ranch is a master-planned community on San Antonio's far west side, which its community association calls the city's largest. San Antonio developer Galo Properties bought the former cattle ranch in 2006 and broke ground soon after, according to the San Antonio Express-News, and the community covers more than 3,000 acres. Pulte was the first builder, followed by Centex, David Weekley, D.R. Horton, and Lennar. It is organized into neighborhoods called Grants: Austin, Burnet, Cameron, DeWitt, DeZavala, Edwards, Harrison, McMullen, Travis, Williams, and Woodbury. Four of them, Austin, Harrison, Williams, and Woodbury, are gated.
The Alamo Ranch Community Association runs a clubhouse with a large pool and slide, a kiddie pool, a basketball court, playgrounds, a multipurpose field, and a pavilion with barbecue pits. The association office is at 12160 Volunteer Parkway, and the community is served by Northside ISD.
For buyers, the original Grant neighborhoods are established, so most purchases here are resales. Local agents put most prices between about $300,000 and $450,000. The TurboHome rebate works the same way on a resale: when the seller pays buyer-agent compensation, we keep a flat fee and credit you the rest at closing.
Most buyers take the listing as offered. The cheapest house in the neighborhood comes from layering three savings.
Sellers in Alamo Ranch can offer price cuts or closing-cost credits, and any builder still selling there may advertise rate buydowns. Those stay yours when you buy with TurboHome.
When the seller or builder pays the buyer's agent commission. We keep a flat fee and credit you the rest at closing, about $5,500 on a $350,000 home.
Price, repairs after inspection, and seller-paid closing costs. Sellers rarely offer these to buyers who don't ask.
Example at a 3% builder-paid commission. Builders set their own buyer-agent compensation, and your rebate is confirmed in your written buyer agreement and on the closing statement.
Plan with 3% buyer-agent compensation. We credit you back and take a low flat fee.

Buying without an agent
no rebate
Buying through the builder's sales office alone returns no commission to you. Builders set their own buyer-agent compensation, so confirm it before you sign.
Each section has its own age, price point, and school zoning. Here is how they compare.

The details that change your monthly payment or resale value, and that a listing won't mention.
Assessments depend on the Grant. Non-gated Grants pay $210 a quarter in 2026, while gated Grants pay $294.18 to $329.31. Ask which Grant a listing is in before you compare monthly costs.
Several nearby communities use the Alamo Ranch name in marketing. Check the listing against the association's Grant list to confirm you get clubhouse and pool access.
On a resale, buyer-agent compensation is negotiated with the seller. We ask for it in the offer, and the TurboHome rebate comes from that amount at closing.
