Who you will be working with

Ben Bear, co-founder and CEO of TurboHome and BuildCasa

Throughout his career, Ben has built and scaled high-growth technology companies while challenging established industries with new business models.

  • CEO, SpinA Ford subsidiary operating shared electric scooters in more than 100 cities worldwide.
  • VP Global Sales, VungleA leader in in-app video advertising that recently went public on the NASDAQ as Liftoff.

What you will own

You will run the fundraising process for both companies, from first research through diligence.

  1. 01

    Investor research and target mapping

Map investors across venture and real estate capital, and keep both pipelines current as they move.

  2. 02

    Outreach preparation

Draft tailored first touches and follow-ups, then track who responded and what happens next.

  3. 03

    Fundraise materials

Build decks, data rooms, and regular investor updates for each company.

  4. 04

    Pipeline management

Own CRM hygiene, scheduling, meeting notes, and committed follow-ups.

  5. 05

    Diligence coordination

Pull answers and documents together as investor requests come in.

Who this fits

Ideally you have worked at a VC-backed startup, in VC, or in finance. Curiosity and follow-through matter more than a specific background.

  • A current graduate student, such as an MBA, law, or similar program
  • A strong, fast writer who can draft in someone else's voice
  • Highly organized; you enjoy running a process, not just advising on one
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration
  • Interested in startups, venture capital, and/or real estate; direct experience is a plus, not a requirement
